Halloween

Oh what fun we had!! And what a busy day. We were going all morning including a really cute parade at Amara's school. I'd love to post those photos but there are so many kids in those pictures I think I should be discreet (you know the whole internet thingy...) Needless to say, imagine 50 kids and their teachers all in costume, and a set of parents for each all taking photos and lurking. It was pandemonium but fabulous!

So, Amara went as a little tulip flower. We were joined at our house in the evening by our Ethiopia adopt friends, a friend from Amara's school and my sis and hubby. It was really fun. We had off and on rain all day here but it cleared while we trick or treated. We have a really active neighborhood of kids so the trick or treating was great. Everyone loved seeing Amara in her costume. It felt like a "village" :)
I hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween. The season is now just beginning! Wow!
